What's behind the name?

HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED WHY THE 3/17 IS IN OUR NAME?

3|17 Korte Bernedoodles was founded and named to align with the Bible verse, Colossians 3:17. "And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus."  God is at the center of our family. He is our constant, our provider, our forgiver, and our Father.  We wanted our business name to have meaning that was attached to our faith. 

Throughout our marriage, moving across the country twice, multiple job changes in our careers, loss of dear family members, bringing 5 children into the world, raising 5 children in an uncertain world, leaving my teaching carrier to pursue my dream of being a stay at home Mom, financial burdens, and then starting a business, there is one thing constant in our lives and that is God. Through all the trials, moments of joy, and moments of loss, God remains faithful and good. 

Our desire is to live like Christ. We are called to be a light for the World. We often fall short of this calling but continue to improve and rely on God for strength and wisdom in all we do. 

With every family that we are blessed to meet and interact with, KBD will strive to do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Any family that chooses us to bring their puppy into the world will truly become apart of the 3|17 KBD family and be provided with a lifetime of support.
